Report by Nick Clayton, thank you Nick
Well what can I say...
The day started with
absolutely no wind what so ever. A hastily called meeting between the
skippers at 12H30, we’ll wait another half an hour to see if we get any
wind. Twenty minutes later and the wind came so Round 5 was on its way.
The wind continued, which
allowed us to complete the three races. Class C even got an extra race in –
marvellous.

On a bit of a sour note –
once again we had several incidents where skippers flaunted the rules – this
has to stop now as it is ruining the races.
After consultation with
members of the sail committee it has been decided we are going to implement
a protest committee which will be called upon if any skipper wishes to
protest against another skipper. We will explain how it will work at the
beginning of round 6. |
